The American Advertising Federation of Los Angeles Hosts the Los Angeles ADDYS Gala on March 7

ADDYS Winners from Leading Brands & Advertising Agencies in LA will be Announced at the Gala

Today, the American Advertising Federation of Los Angeles, a chapter of the national organization that represents 35,000 advertising professionals around the country, announced the Los Angeles ADDYS Gala will return on March 7, 2024 at its new location, the historic AVALON Hollywood.

“The American Advertising Awards competition represents the spirit of creative excellence by recognizing amazing creativity across all forms. We are excited to recognize the winning work from the Los Angeles competition at this year’s Gala and celebrate with the LA advertising & creative communities”

This marks the first show of the newly appointed AAF LA Board, comprised of distinguished members from industry-leading agencies and brands, including Getty Images, Giant Group, Hawke Media, TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, and Walton Isaacson, with integral support in creative direction from IW Group and MOCEAN.

The Los Angeles ADDYS Gala, presented by Genesis of South Bay, is widely regarded as the biggest night for the LA advertising community, will include a cocktail hour, the award show, and conclude with an after party at Bardot, on the AVALON property. The awards ceremony will be under the leadership of 2023-2024 American Advertising Awards competition co-chairs, Chris Degenaars and Erica Coates, and hosted by Yasmine Tanres. The event sponsors include Genesis of South Bay, IW Group, MOCEAN, and Ogilvy.

Coates continues, “As we embark on this exciting new chapter for AAF Los Angeles, we are privileged to take this journey together with our vibrant creative advertising community and aspire to new heights with a renewed dedication of fostering inclusivity and representation for all.”

The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative creative competition, recognizing creative excellence in the art of advertising with over 40,000 entries each year from around the country. The ADDYS uniquely embrace the diverse creative spirit of advertising, recognizing excellence across all forms, and winners represent the best creative the industry has to offer.
