Adweek, the leading source for advertising, marketing, and media insights, today announced a revolutionary expansion of its Marketing Vanguard program, a unique resource for chief marketing officers. As part of this expansion, Liz Kneebone was appointed vice president of Community Programs and Development.
An Adweek statement cited Kneebone’s “deep expertise” in cultivating executive communities as one of the reasons the ANA alum will be an ideal leader. This announcement follows Adweek’s appointments of key senior editorial staff hires. Late last year, Ryan Joe, ADWEEK’s editor in chief shared that he was “thrilled” to announce the hiring of Alison Weissbrot as the publication’s new executive editor.
Joe, known for his adtech expertise, has elevated Adweek’s 45-year-old storied reputation as the bible of creativity and inspiration for the advertising industry to a more future forward publication focused on sections including Blockchain, Programmatic, Performance Marketing and content offerings including seven groundbreaking podcasts.
In September 2024, Jenny Rooney was elevated to Chief Brand and Community Officer and stated that she was “thrilled” to be moving into a role that will help propel Adweek forward as the de facto resource for anyone in the incredibly exciting and dynamic industry of advertising.
