Global creative collective Thinkingbox has announced that it has appointed Jacob Hinmon as Creative Director and Andy Burdin as Associate Creative Director, joining its team in Los Angeles.
The announcement further signifies the shop’s ongoing growth and efforts to boost creative capabilities and prioritize strong client partnerships.
Joining the team from Unit9, where he was commercial director for 12 years, Hinmon has worked with clients including Samsung, Nike, Infiniti, Pinterest, and LA Dodgers. His commercial directing experience, paired with concepting, scriptwriting, shooting, and video editing, makes his skillset a tour de force for the Thinkingbox team, where he will drive the company’s creative and content capabilities into an exciting new chapter.
“My goal at Thinkingbox is to deliver innovative and exceptional creative work and help lead the creative department through this growth stage by expanding our international presence and reputation as a top-tier creative collective,” said Hinmon.
Burdin comes to Thinkingbox from Loaded and brings a host of design experience and directing creative campaign efforts for clients such as 20th Century Fox, Marvel, Lionsgate, Ubisoft, Microsoft, Adidas Originals, Pepsi, Oakley, Dodge, and Lexus. He previously also held roles with digital agencies Ignition and Jam3. As Associate Creative Director, Burdin will be leveraging his extensive experience designing interfaces for web, mobile, live streaming, and AR/VR technology, as well as sharp conceptual skills to explore the many ways to blend technology and storytelling.
