Anonymous Content’s Los Angeles-based Academy Award-winning director Armando Bo (Birdman, Biutiful) has released the short film—and passion project— A Strange Animal, which he wrote and directed as a homage to Columbia’s tumultuous, war-torn last 50 years and their road toward the Peace Agreement that shook the world last year.
This film is particularly timely as it honors the first anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to Colombian President Santos and draws attention to the country’s 2018 presidential election. A true labor of love for everyone involved, the of A Strange Animal were directly involved in the peace talks, sitting in several meetings in Havanna with the Farc leaders, as well as Former President Cesar Gaviria and every major figure in the whole process, including the Chief Engineer of this agreement: Dr. Humberto de la Calle and President Santos’s son, Martin Santos.
