Directed by Black Dog Films’ David Dobkin (The Judge, Wedding Crashers), the latest from Maroon 5 is a contagious anthem to sisterhood that might just leave you dancing yourself.
Maroon 5’s Adam Levine croons while the camera circles around him in one continuous shot, a woman back-to-back with him, dancing and singing along to the song’s catchy lyrics, while the band’s Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton and Sam Farrar surround them playing. The hook? It’s a different woman joining in every time; diverse, influential, each and every one of them a powerhouse and inspiration. Sarah Silverman, Jennifer Lopez, Elizabeth Banks, Ellen DeGeneres and Mary J. Blige, to mention a few.
Dobkin also directed Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” which showcased the band delighting lucky Angelino couples around town with impromptu performances at their weddings.
