Get a First Look at “Prologue: Last Supper,” the Short Film Prelude to Ridley Scott’s ALIEN: COVENANT

The intrigue continues to build with the unveiling of the entire Covenant crew–including Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, James Franco, Danny McBride and Billy Crudup–in this photo: The candid image was released online Tuesday, and encouraged fans to tune-in last Wednesday night between 7 and 8 p.m. PT for FX’s “Legion,” where Fox released a teaser spot for Alien: Covenant. The spot gives us a sneak peek of the short film, “Prologue: Last Supper” — an original, in-world story conceived by Ridley Scott and 3AM, directed by Luke Scott and featuring the movie’s A-list cast — then feeds fans a link to the full-length version making its debut online. You can see it here: “Prologue: Last Supper” is the official prologue to Alien: Covenant, introducing the crew of the mission as they gather for a final meal before entering cryosleep. Set aboard the Covenant, a colonization ship on its way to a remote planet to form a new human settlement, the main crew (all couples) and their android, Walter, enjoy one last meal together before cryosleep. The short, created by award-winning marketing agency 3AM, is part of Alien: Covenant’s marketing campaign. “Prologue: Last Supper,” conceived by Ridley Scott and 3AM, directed by Luke Scott (Morgan), and produced by RSA Films.
