Director Tom Carty Joins Humble

An award-winning talent as both a writer and director, Carty is a renowned storyteller and innovator who has pushed creative boundaries throughout his career. Carty began his career in advertising as a copywriter. He came to fame working with his creative partner Walter Campbell at AMV BBDO producing groundbreaking work on high profile brands including Dunlop Tyres, Volvo, and Guinness. His “Surfer” spot for the latter achieved mass acclaim and was voted the best commercial of all time by the British public. After establishing himself as one of Britain’s most-awarded copywriters he successfully transitioned into a new phase of his career as a director, producing award-winning spots for clients including the BBC, Nike, Levi’s, The Economist, and a popular spot for ITV starring Gary Oldman.
