By thelaegotist / / Stephen McCall is joining digital agency TVGla as VP Brand Engagement, a new position at the growing agency that will leverage his experience in a wide range of categories and business development expertise. McCall was most recently part of a leadership team to launch Deep Focus in LA. Quickly adding brands such as Neutrogena and Red Bull to its new client roster helped make Deep Focus a 2016 Adage “Agency to Watch”. “We are looking for Stephen to provide a more robust and structured approach to business development that aligns our strengths in digital innovation with his background in driving engaging content with digital strategies,” noted Dimitry Ioffe, CEO of TVGla. “We have had great success diversifying our client base from entertainment to CPG and automotive brands and with Stephen’s help, we expect to accelerate our growth.” McCall is the second recent big hire of seasoned talent to join TVGla. Last month the agency announced it had hired Guy Gouldavis in the new role of Head of Strategy. The moves signal the agency’s investment in bringing in and supporting best in class talent. In addition to his impact at Deep Focus, Stephen was Head of Client Services at Trailer Park where he was instrumental in partnering with Apple and Fiat Chrysler. He has worked at agencies across the US and UK including Publicis, M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy. Stephen has also worked on the client side, leading global campaigns with Microsoft and Lenovo.
