Free! Meet Illeana Douglas at the L.A Times Festival Of Books

By thelaegotist / / In Illeana Douglas’ memoir, I Blame Dennis Hopper And Other Stories From a Life Lived In and Out of the Movies (Flatiron Books), the comedic actress, director and writer tells tales of her lifelong love affair with the Silver Screen and her exposure to Hollywood through escapades with her paternal grandfather, actor Melvyn Douglas. On Saturday, April 9th, the public can grab a signed copy, meet the author and find out just what, exactly, Mr. Easy Rider did to skew her preteen worldview. At the LA Times Festival of Books at USC’s downtown campus (free), the star of Cape Fear, Ghostworld, Goodfellas, Grace of My Heart, The Larry Sanders Show, Six Feet Under and To Die For will appear at the Skylight Books booth (#138) from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. to sign copies of IBDH. The booth is one “block” down from USC’s Tommy Trojan statue and across from Bovard Auditorium.
