What is your #HopeForOurDaughters?

By thelaegotist / / With its new film release, Suffragette (starring Carey Mulligan and Meryl Streep), Focus Features brings early members of the British women’s suffrage movement and the struggles they faced during the late 19th and early 20th century to the forefront. To support the launch, Venice-based ad agency Zambezi created the video, ‘Daughters?’ to give a voice to women who fought for the right to vote over 100 years ago, while at the same time shining a light on the unpleasant realities that women still face today. In the video, young girls (ages 7-14) deliver shocking statistics about injustices women experienced in 1915 and are still experiencing in 2015. The film is in theaters now across the US: http://www.suffragettethemovie.com/#landing/take-action
