THE JOB
Social Strategist

THE CHALLENGE
broadhead is looking for a social bull to join our team. As a Social Strategist, you work seamlessly with clients, account teams, creatives, media planners, and PR pros alike. Some might even call you a professional socializer, and you put that to good use in developing never-been-done social programs and response-generating content. Socialite is your middle name, and you strive to ensure that brands and people are happy to see each other in the social world.

THE LIFE
Day-to-day work life will include but is not limited to the following:
Lead the creation of response-generating social media campaigns that are creative, targeted, measurable and produce quantifiable results.
Working from each client’s content pillars, develop novel and interesting social programs to authentically distribute key messages throughout the year.
Activate PR storytellers and creative ninjas to ensure content development is aligned with social strategy and tactics.
Collaborate with media planners on paid social programs, ensuring integration with overall social strategy and other social initiatives.
Coordinate social activities across multiple channels including how on- and off-line experiences work in tandem.
Sell best-in-class social experiences, content, creative and analytics to clients.
Assess current and past social content and recommend effective modifications or new solutions.
Develop KPIs that effectively track and measure effectiveness of social activities.
Analyze clients’ social activities across all major social networks and actively mine social conversations for relevant insights and opportunities to engage.
Lead the development of social business, and help the agency continue to evolve our offerings.
Educate and mentor agency and client teams on social best practices, new technologies and trends.
Craft a modern social approach for the agency, incorporating on- and off-line activities to engage the target audience.
Consume copious amounts of coffee, fresh fruit, and a glazed or sprinkled carb or two when tempted.
Have a slight obsession with an on-time, on-budget, on-strategy work life.
Wear a wardrobe of your own casual, but professional choosing.
Laugh easily.
Collaborate constantly.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of agency or client experience in a social, digital or creative role.
Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, emerging applications and technologies.
THE MEASURABLES OF SUCCESS
Every job has a level of abilities and expectations. Here are a few of ours:

Straight A's in social media, social engagement, social strategy, and oh, maybe all things social.

A small ego and positive attitude for guiding, lending an ear, and serving as a leader to those eager to gain your wisdom of experience.
A commitment to champion your department and the agency's success one day at a time.
Teamwork. Period.
