PBS SoCal is hosting a FREE screening/concert for the upcoming Independent Lens feature “Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World” followed by a panel on Tues., Jan. 15 at the Theatre at The Ace Hotel. An invite below details the panelists and the notable musical performances including Raye Zarazoga as well as PJ Vegas and his father Pat Vegas (performing “Come and Get Your Love” to close out the night).
RUMBLE brings to light a profound and missing chapter in the history of American music: the Indigenous influence. Join us and discover how Native American musicians transformed American blues, jazz, and rock in this musical celebration. RUMBLE will premiere on Independent Lens on January 21, 2019.
