Justin Fines Joins Brand New School as Associate Creative Director

Justin Fines joins Jonathan Notaro and colleagues at Brand New School's East Coast Studio as Associate Creative Director.
Originally from Detroit, Fines became inspired by the electronic dance music scene and immediately began creating flyers for underground events, which quickly led to collaborations with legendary record labels and other major players.
In New York, Fines has has success as Psyop's art director, having designed the distinctive logo as well as directing spots for Aeroplan, Colorado Lotto, Marshalls, Nickelodeon UK. He has also worked with DEMO, been a Visiting Professor of Communications Design at the Pratt Institute, and had his work featured in dozens of books and magazines --- most recently, Michael Perry's highly regarded "PULLED: A Catalog of Screen Printing." Justin's designs can be seen on apparel and graphics for Adidas, Nike, Incase, Sixpack, Threadless, and ZooYork.
"Justin is a brilliant designer and teacher, and he understands the value in fostering talent and being in a collaborative environment," said Notaro. "He brings a lot of experience, and he really wants to make everyone's experience at BNS better, push things further, and try new things, which is what the job requires."
