AOR’s Account Executive (AE)
AOR’s Account Executives are the day-to-day project experts and leaders of client work within the agency. AE’s maintain constant communication with their clients and agency teams to ensure projects are being completed on time and under budget by gathering information for team members to do their jobs and passing on their knowledge and expertise to team members. AE’s are the voice of the client within the agency and the voice of the agency to the client. They must be experts on both the client’s business needs and the agency’s process and marketing capabilities. A high level of communication, organization, strategy, time management, decision making, and leadership skills are a must.
Requirements for this Position
-Three or more years of experience working within the social & digital, media, and agency space
-Proven success working on 6+ clients simultaneously
-Experience working/managing projects that require coordination between several partner agencies/vendors
-Experience managing retainers and client budgets (fees and hard costs)
-Comfortability presenting to mid to senior level marketing managers
-Experience working on website development projects (preferably WordPress)
-Experience working on integrated/360 campaigns across a number of touchpoints
-Experience working on branding projects
-Google Suite proficiency
Bonus Points For
-Experience with Workamajig, BugHerd, Proposify and/or Keynote
-Management experience
Roles and Responsibilities
-The Account Executive is the day-to-day point person for all projects and activities on the account. This includes strategy, creative and production aspects of all projects.
-The AE is expected to understand the client’s business and act as an extension to their marketing department.
-The AE is a brand expert on their assigned account(s).
-It is the AE‘s responsibility to ensure effective and efficient account operations within the agency environment.
-The AE is expected to carry out the daily account activities, but also think and act strategically on behalf of the client.
-The AE needs to be able to work independently on assigned projects, keeping Account Director informed as needed, exhibiting good judgment and decision-making skills.
-The AE is responsible for driving projects forward.
-The AE is responsible for developing strategic and complete estimates and creative briefs for new projects.
-The AE is expected to solicit and understand client feedback on all jobs and create feedback documents to provide to traffic accordingly.
-The AE is responsible for growing client relationships.

What Does Success Look Like in this Position?
With Team/Department:
-Demonstrate giving and receiving respect within your department
-Write clear, concise and actionable creative briefs that meet client needs and provide thorough direction to the creative team
-Delegation skills to Account Coordinators
-Participate in department huddles
-Bring new topics of conversation, trends, process changes/improvements, etc.
With Agency:
-Clear understanding of all agency-wide services and focus verticals
-Develop strong relationships agency-wide
-Represent agency at client/industry events
With Client/Work:
-Effectively and enthusiastically present AOR work
-Demonstrate strong understanding of client’s brand and business to propose new ideas and strategies
-Successfully write proposals for current client growth
-Develop strong relationships with clients for stability of accounts
-Conduct tough conversations (ex. budget increases) with clients

Account Director
Salary Range
$55,000-70,000 base annual salary.
Salary will be based on previous experience.

Position Specifics
We are open to remote candidates for this position.
This is a full-time salaried position that holds an approximate 40-hour workweek, though may require additional hours from time-to-time.
