Job Description
Booyah Online Advertising is seeking an experienced, full-time Media Planner to participate in all aspects of executing high profile and complex clients’ display media campaigns. Responsibilities include strategy, ongoing planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting. The person will be accountable for pulling together intelligent media recommendations for our diverse set of direct response and branding clients.

• Responsible for the overall client communication and display media strategy as well as timely delivery of reports & analysis
• Responsible for display results for assigned client accounts
• Develop logic and rationale behind all media decisions
• Leverage and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Generate multiple clients’ media plans and jump in where necessary; from trafficking to optimization to management
• Purchase media as needed
• Ensure contracts are accurate, out clauses are set and billing is established
• Approve and actualize invoices
• Generate supplementary materials for clients
• Create timelines, internal and external to remain organized

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably 1-2 as a digital media planner
• Ability to plan campaigns involving traditional banners, mobile, tablet, social, email and lead generation opportunities. Remaining up to speed on industry trends in all of these areas is crucial for pitching new ideas to our internal or external teams.
• Experience implementing display campaigns across multiple networks, DSPs, or single sites

• Proficient in either DART (preferred) , MediaPlex or other 3rd party ad servers
• Familiar with different types of buying: ex: audience targeting, lookalike modeling, search retargeting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel used specifically for manipulating large amounts of data, pivot tables, lookups, and report creation
• Experience presenting in front of clients
• Experience working on DR and Branding campaigns of $1M+, and full understanding of metrics used to evaluate these types of campaigns
• Leadership and delegation experience
• In-depth knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Aptitude to quickly learn new software tools for monitoring and reporting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter with strong multi-tasking skills and close attention to detail
• Paid search, or SEO experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Business or related field

Preferred Additional Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with Google Adwords and Google Analytics is a plus
• Familiarity with additional online tools such as Comscore, Nielsen, or Google AdPlanner
• Understanding of attribution modeling
• Social personality – comfortable with talking on the phone, emailing, and seeking answers to questions in a timely manner
• Ambition and drive to produce great results for clients
• Understanding of responsibilities and willingness/desire to go above and beyond given tasks
• Ability to work under pressure
• Accountability and pride in the work you produce
