Job Description:
Brand should be a thread that impacts everything an organization does and shapes every experience and interaction that customers have. We’re looking for a Brand Experience Strategist / Communications Designer to work with the Strategy and Creative teams in our San Francisco office to develop brand-driven experience guidance that will ultimately impact the customer journey.

The Brand Experience Strategist / Communications Director will have strong leadership and people skills and be able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. They will be able to articulate concepts clearly and in a compelling way both verbally and graphically. They will be responsible for participating in all phases of the brand and creative development and work cohesively with their peers in Strategy, Creative, Program Management, and Brand Management.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

To develop experience strategies that align to the brand strategy, in collaboration with the Strategy and Creative teams
To dynamically present complex information quickly and clearly using information graphics and other similar information design tools
To participate in the collection of research inputs (e.g. market research and in-depth interviews)
To provide clear and objective critiques of strategic and creative work
To craft and lead workshops aimed at driving experience related insights
To develop strong relationships with clients, management and the client facing teams
To contribute to new business development by participating in pitches and presentations

Skills and Experience:

5-8 years of relevant experience in user experience and/or creative brand strategies
Experience working with various design disciplines; from product & service design to visual design
A deep understanding of evolving consumer behavior and a passion for innovative cultural ideas
Expert level understanding of branding and business processes
Strong presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be a detailed-oriented problem solver
Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign knowledge are preferred
