    Miike Snow's most recent video for "Pretender" was filmed during their performance at the Hard Festival here in Los Angeles. The video finds their friend Jean Noel experiencing his first festival and learning all about the culture that surrounds.

    Directed by Vern Moen, this is the 4th in a series of videos featuring Jean Noel, a character created by director Andreas Nilsson who also directed the first three videos for singles from the band's latest album, "Happy To You."

    World-renowned street artists, The London Police, open their first solo on Saturday, October 13th, at Corey Helford Gallery (8522 Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA) with "For Dogs Sake" which includes a major new body of paintings on canvas, a big surprise from some major guest artists, and a film, "Dogumentary", which will be running through the duration of their exhibition.

    “Hello Herman”, the new feature film directed by Michelle Danner and starring Norman Reedus, Martha Higareda, and newcomer Garrett Backstrom, will be playing at Laemmle Theater on November 20th, until December 6th 2012 from 8pm - 10pm at 5240 Lankershim Blvd.
    North Hollywood, 91601.

    The story involves Herman Howards, a high school student who has been a bully magnet. Taunted and tormented, he armed himself and took revenge by shooting dozens in a bloody fury. Now incarcerated, a national debate springs up around him as to whether or not to execute him. He’ll tell his story to the world through one journalist, Lax Morales, an award-winning reporter who is haunted by his own past.


  • Ad Agency Run by High School Students, Lands First Paying Client

    IAM Advertising, an ad agency that opened for business this past May and is operated by students at the 4A’s High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media in Brooklyn's Canarsie neighborhood, has signed its first paying client -- The National Black Programming Consortium. IAM Advertising will create a campaign to promote the Consortium’s 4-hour PBS documentary series, DC Met: Life Inside School Reform, scheduled to air in Spring 2013.
